Mirissa
Sri Lanka
A small beach town on Sri Lanka's south coast, Mirissa draws visitors for its whale and dolphin watching, a café and restaurant scene substantial for its size, and scenic viewpoints along the shoreline. It also functions as a working fishing port. The wider region holds UNESCO World Heritage sites, and the city of Matara is close by.
