Koggala

This small coastal town on Sri Lanka's south coast, Koggala sits between a reef and the broad Koggala Lake, where the waters of the Koggala Oya drain into the lagoon. The town has a modest café and restaurant scene and an unusually high concentration of churches for its size, with the wider Galle District region home to UNESCO World Heritage sites.
