Kražiai

Lithuania

Kražiai, a historic modest town in Lithuania's Kelmė district, sits on the Kražantė River and holds an old town centre designated as an archaeological and urban monument. Surviving structures from a 17th-century college include a dormitory building with Gothic and Renaissance features, alongside the remains of a Radvila castle. A folk-sculpture alley of wooden works, established in 2003, leads toward Medžiokalnis hill, and the town also has a church, gymnasium, local history museum, and library.
