Jurbarkas
Tauragės apskritis · Lithuania
This pocket-sized Lithuanian town on the right bank of the Nemunas river, where it meets the Mituva and Imsrė tributaries, Jurbarkas sits in the historic Samogitian land of Karšuva with a modest central core of cafés and restaurants. A bridge built over the Nemunas in 1978 made it a regional road junction, and the riverside setting gives it a distinct character for a town of its size.
