The Bernardine monastery complex in this small Lithuanian town — built from the early 17th century through the late 18th century and considered one of the most significant Baroque monuments in northeastern Europe — is the main draw for visitors to Tytuvėnai. Alongside the monastery, the town holds several other religious buildings, including a church dating from 1633, an Orthodox church from 1875, and multiple chapels. A forest museum, established in 1962, and an international arts festival held each summer add further points of interest.
