A compact village on the high plateau of the Cerdagne in the French Pyrénées-Orientales, Enveitg sits within the Parc naturel régional des Pyrénées catalanes and is drained by several mountain streams. The surrounding area holds a Natura 2000 conservation zone covering Capcir, Carlit, and Campcardos, alongside multiple protected ecological sites. The Cerdagne plain stretches roughly east to west at around 1,200 metres, with UNESCO World Heritage sites accessible in the wider region.
