Villefranche-de-Conflent

Pyrénées-Orientales · France

Enclosed within intact medieval walls in the Pyrénées-Orientales, Villefranche-de-Conflent is a tiny Catalan village in southern France where the Têt and Cady rivers meet in the Pyrenean foothills. A member of Les Plus Beaux Villages de France, it sits within the Parc naturel régional des Pyrénées catalanes and holds several historic churches for a settlement its size, along with a small selection of cafés and restaurants. The surrounding mountain terrain offers scenic viewpoints, and two Natura 2000 natural sites lie within the commune.
