Vorokhta

Ukraine

A small Carpathian spa town and ski resort on the Prut River in western Ukraine, Vorokhta sits high in the mountains and is often regarded as a capital of Hutsul culture — an ethno-cultural group native to the Ukrainian Carpathians. Ski-jumping ramps, scenic mountain viewpoints, and a café-lined centre draw visitors across seasons, and the wider region holds UNESCO World Heritage sites.
