Bukovel
Ukraine
Ukraine's largest ski resort and, as of 2012, the fastest-growing in the world, Bukovel sits high in the Carpathian Mountains in western Ukraine's Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. Runs extend across more than 58 km of trails, with the resort's highest point reaching Mount Dovha, and the winter season typically runs from December through April. A dense café and restaurant scene makes it a year-round destination, not only a winter one.
