A tiny island village in the Nemunas Delta in western Lithuania, Rusnė sits within a regional park known for its river delta wildlife and proximity to the Curonian Lagoon. The village has a Catholic chapel, a viewing tower, a cycle path laid out in 2005, and a prehistoric burial mound listed as a historical monument. A biennial outdoor festival takes place here each June.
