A rural township in Miaoli County, Taiwan, Nanzhuang sits along the upper reaches of the Zhonggang River and within the Tri-Mountain National Scenic Area. The township is home to the largest population of Saisiyat indigenous people of any township in Taiwan, alongside a substantial Hakka majority and a smaller Atayal community, giving it an unusually diverse cultural character for its size.
