Zhunan
Taiwan
This northern Miaoli County township in Taiwan has a café and restaurant scene and an unusual concentration of churches relative to its size. Bordering Hsinchu City to the north and the Taiwan Strait to the west, Zhunan developed as a trading port before shifting its commercial centre inland with the arrival of the railway, and today hosts several industrial parks alongside cultural facilities including the Miaobei Arts and Cultural Center.
