France Pyrénées-Orientales

Montner

Pyrénées-Orientales · France

This modest hamlet in the Fenouillèdes — a long depression between the Corbières and the Pyrenean massifs in southern France's Pyrénées-Orientales — where almost all the surrounding land is planted with vines, either across the foothills of the Força Réal massif or across the plain. The Agly river basin shapes the wider landscape, and the Força Réal ridge to the south marks the boundary between two river plains.
