Le Tech
Pyrénées-Orientales · France
A small hamlet in the mountains of southern France's Pyrénées-Orientales, Le Tech sits alongside the Tech river in the Vallespir, a valley historically attached to France by the 1659 Treaty of the Pyrenees. The commune is drained by several watercourses and holds a Natura 2000 designation covering the river itself, alongside two natural ecological zones — making it a base for those drawn to mountain river landscapes in the eastern Pyrenees.
