Gränna
Sweden
Gränna, a small lakeside town on the eastern shore of Vättern — Sweden's second largest lake — is known for its peppermint rock candy, called polkagris in Swedish. Founded in 1652 by Count Per Brahe, it sits in Småland with views across the water toward the island of Visingsö, and supports a modest café and restaurant scene for a place its size.
