Billund

Denmark

Billund, a pocket-sized town in Jutland, Denmark, is defined by its connection to Lego: the company's global headquarters are here, and the original Legoland theme park — the first in the world — opened here in 1968 and draws around two million visitors a year. The Lego House experience centre and Lalandia, the largest water park in Scandinavia, add further draws. Billund Airport, Denmark's second largest, makes the town straightforwardly accessible.
