Truskavets

Ukraine

Truskavets is Ukraine's foremost balneological resort, built around mineral springs in a valley at the foot of the Eastern Carpathians, within reach of Lviv by bus or train. The most celebrated of its waters is Naftusia, a slightly saline spring with a distinctive naphtha and sulfur scent. Visitors come primarily to drink the various local mineral waters, and the town's walkable centre supports a dense food-and-drink scene alongside historic churches.
