Horodok

This tiny Ukrainian city just west of Lviv, Horodok sits on the river Vereshytsia, which broadens into a large pond at the town's edge. The compact centre has a concentration of cafés and restaurants, and the wider Lviv region is ringed by UNESCO World Heritage sites. Known historically as Solyany Horodok in the 13th century and later as Horodok Yahelonskyi, the town serves as the administrative centre of Horodok urban hromada.
