Skive

A fjord-side town in northwest Denmark where the Karup River meets the Limfjord, Skive has a compact centre with cafés and restaurants and draws summer visitors to the water for swimming, sailing, and fishing. Most of the town centre dates from 1880 to 1914. The manor house Krabbesholm sits near the eastern harbour, and the town is known as the informal capital of the Salling Peninsula.
