Shuili
Taiwan
Small township in the mountains of Nantou County, Taiwan, Shuili sits along the water with a modest central core of cafés and restaurants. Once part of Jiji Township, it was established as a separate administrative unit in 1950 and renamed in 1966. During the 1970s, a thriving timber industry earned it the local nickname "Little Taipei."
