This walkable city in the hill terrain of Negeri Sembilan state, Seremban is the state capital of Malaysia's west-coast Peninsular region and sits within the Greater Kuala Lumpur area, a short distance south of the capital. Its centre offers a concentration of cafés, restaurants, and historic churches, and the city gained formal city status in 2020. It also serves as the anchor city of the Malaysia Vision Valley economic zone.
