Reerso

This modest Danish peninsula village on the Great Belt, between Korsør and Kalundborg on the western coast of Zealand, Reersø is known for its cliffs on the outer western shore, salt marshes at its neck, and a population of tailless cats. Several farms dating to the 16th century survive in the area, and a local museum founded in 1926 by the writer Thorkild Gravlund documents the peninsula's history. The harbour draws visiting sailors, and the village has a number of artists' galleries.
