Queenston
Canada
Queenston, in Ontario's Niagara wine country, sits where the Niagara River meets the Niagara Escarpment — the geological point from which the falls began carving their gorge some 12,000 years ago. The community marks the southern terminus of the Bruce Trail, with the cairn near General Brock's Monument. The Lewiston-Queenston Bridge connects it across the river to Lewiston, New York.
