Liseleje

Denmark

A compact beach resort on the Kattegat coast of North Zealand, roughly an hour northwest of Copenhagen, Liseleje draws summer visitors to its sandy shore and large beachside parking area. Originally a fishing village, it has expanded into a sprawling summerhouse settlement that swells considerably in the warmer months. A large natural playground called "Havtyren," opened in September 2010, sits beside the beach.
