Kulmbach

Plassenburg Castle, which houses the largest tin soldier collection in the world, rises above this Bavarian town on the Main river in Franconia, a short distance north of Bayreuth. Kulmbach is also known for its breweries and its Bratwürste, and hosts a faculty of the University of Bayreuth focused on food and life sciences alongside some of the world's major food industry businesses.
