Keadue
Ireland
Keadue, a small village in County Roscommon, is the burial place of Turlough O'Carolan, the celebrated Irish harper, and holds an annual O'Carolan Harp Festival and Summer School in his memory. Kilronan Castle, restored as a hotel in 2008, sits on the shores of nearby Lough Meelagh. The village has twice won the Irish Tidy Towns Competition outright, in 1993 and 2003, and has taken the county title on multiple occasions.
