Kampong Speu
Cambodia
This Cambodian province, whose name translates as "Port of Starfruit," is known for having more sugar palm trees than any other province in the country, with highland terrain and forested mountains — part of which was designated as the Central Cardamom Mountains National Park in 2016 — making it a base for nature access. The wider region sits within reach of several UNESCO World Heritage sites, and the provincial capital is the town of Chbar Mon.
