Jabugo

Huelva · Spain

Jabugo, a small village in Andalusia's Sierra de Aracena y Picos de Aroche natural park, gives its name to a Protected Designation of Origin for Jamón ibérico — the cured ham that has made this corner of Huelva province widely known. The village sits at elevation in the mountains and is surrounded by three smaller settlements that together form the municipality. A handful of cafés and restaurants serve the area.
