Almonaster la Real

A small Andalusian village in the mountains of Huelva province, Almonaster la Real is known for its 10th-century mosque and has held a place in the Los Pueblos Más Bonitos de España association since 2018 — the first village in Huelva province to earn that recognition. A handful of cafés and restaurants serve the village, which draws independent travellers for its mountain terrain and strong photographic appeal.
