Grevena
Γρεβενά, Κοζάνη · Greece
Known informally as the "Mushroom City" for the area's strong tradition of mushroom cultivation, Grevena is a small town in the mountains of Western Macedonia, northern Greece, set beside the Greveniotikos river. It has a café and restaurant scene that punches above its size, and the surrounding municipality is ringed by mountains. The Egnatia Odos motorway gives it good road connections across northern Greece, with a direct link to Athens expected by 2026.
