Ershui
Taiwan
Ershui, a little agricultural township in southeastern Changhua County, Taiwan, is the historic intake point for the Bapao Canal (八堡圳), a traditional irrigation system that still waters much of the Changhua Plain. The annual Paoshui Festival commemorates this waterworks heritage. Ershui Station, within the township, marks the junction of the Western Trunk Line and the Jiji Branch Line, making it a practical rail hub. The township sits at the eastern edge of the Zhuoshui River alluvial plain, with the Bagua Plateau to the northeast.
