Ebeltoft
Denmark
Ebeltoft, a compact port town on Jutland's Djursland peninsula, is home to Fregatten Jylland — the longest wooden warship in the world — and Glasmuseet Ebeltoft, one of the world's first museums dedicated to glass art. Its medieval core, granted town privileges in 1302, preserves cobblestoned streets and half-timbered houses, and the area holds Denmark's greatest concentration of small studio glassworks. The European Film College, founded in 1993, sits on the hills north of town, and the nearby Mols Bjerge nature area adds coastal scenery and beaches.
