A small hamlet in the Hautes-Pyrénées of south-western France, Cadéac sits on the Neste river in the Pays d'Aure, a mountain valley region in Occitanie. Despite its size, it has a handful of cafés and restaurants, several historic churches, and scenic surroundings that reward photography. The area falls within a Natura 2000 conservation zone covering the Neste and neighbouring waterways, and UNESCO World Heritage sites lie within the wider region.
