Antalieptė
Lithuania
Little town in Lithuania's Zarasai district, Antalieptė sits on the right bank of the Šventoji river beside the Antalieptė reservoir — the second-largest hydroelectric reservoir in Lithuania. A 1855 water mill built from field stones and red brick stands nearby, as does the Holy Cross Discovery church and a former Discalced Carmelite monastery in the Šventoji valley. A wooden suspension footbridge across the river, in place since 1986, is listed as a heritage structure.
