Admont Abbey, a monastery founded in 1074, anchors this little Styrian village set in the valley of the Enns River within Gesäuse National Park. The surrounding Ennstal Alps provide scenic mountain terrain, and the national park setting makes the area particularly photogenic. The village holds an unusual number of churches for its size.
