Vepriai

Lithuania

Vepriai, a modest Lithuanian village southwest of Ukmergė, sits beside its own lake with the Šventoji river flowing nearby. The 1910 Church of the Queen of the Rosary is known for its Calvary traditions, and the village also retains a manor house with a park, a protected oak tree, and an 18th-century wayside chapel commemorating the Bar Confederation. In 2024 the village marked its 640th anniversary.
