Tuusula is a municipality in the Helsinki metropolitan area known for the cultural landscape along the eastern shore of Lake Tuusula, where a lakeside villa community preserves the legacy of Finland's Golden Age artists. The historic church village and the Tuusula lakeside road remain the area's main cultural draws, alongside the Kellokoski ironworks in the north. The administrative centre is the urban area of Hyrylä, connected to Helsinki by motorway.
