A small town in the mountains of southwestern Bosnia and Herzegovina with a café and restaurant scene that punches above its size, Tomislavgrad sits beside water in highland terrain within reach of UNESCO World Heritage sites in the wider region. Known in Roman times as Delminium and through the medieval period as Županjac, the town has carried several names across its history, returning to Tomislavgrad in 1990 after decades under the communist-era name Duvno.
