Tenom
Malaysia
Tenom Coffee, a locally grown variety that has become the town's signature product, puts this tiny Sabah interior town on the map for those passing through the Murut heartland of Malaysian Borneo. Considered the unofficial capital of the Murut community, Tenom hosts the annual Pesta Kalimaran festival and serves as the main gateway to surrounding Murut and Lundayeh territories. The town also sits on a scenic rail route along the Padas River toward Beaufort.
