Spinazzola
Barletta-Andria-Trani · Italy
This little Apulian town in the Alta Murgia national park, Spinazzola sits on the border with Basilicata — a boundary redrawn in 1811 when Joachim Murat transferred it from the Matera district into the province of Bari. Vineyards surround the town, and a compact central core offers cafés and restaurants. UNESCO World Heritage sites lie within the wider region.
