This pocket-sized fishing village at the western tip of Lesbos with a natural harbour sheltered by the islet of Nissiopi, Sigri sits right on the water and has a good spread of fish restaurants for its size, including local dishes such as horta. An Ottoman castle built in 1746 overlooks the bay. The village also sits near a petrified forest that belongs to the UNESCO Global Geoparks Network.
