San Leucio, a little village just northwest of Caserta in Campania, is best known for a royal silk-manufacturing complex that was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997 alongside the nearby Reggia di Caserta. The site combines industrial and artistic history in a compact setting, with scenic viewpoints in the surrounding area.
