Salamiestis

This pocket-sized town in northeastern Lithuania's Panevėžys County sits beside the Pyvesa river and holds a notable cluster of 19th-century heritage: two historic churches — a Catholic church dating from 1820 and a wooden Reformed Evangelical church from 1830 — alongside surviving fragments of a manor estate, including a classicist manor house, a windmill built from stone in the mid-1800s, and outbuildings, all listed on the Cultural Heritage Register since 1992.
