Founded in 1880 by businessman James K. Brodie and named for a railway president, this tiny Arkansas city southeast of Little Rock sits on land that was formerly part of the Quapaw Nation and contains two historic preservation districts. It lies within walking distance of water and is part of the broader Pine Bluff area.
