Perast

A tiny village on the Bay of Kotor in Montenegro, Perast sits between mountain peaks and open water, with an unusual number of churches and cafés for its size. From the waterfront, boats run out to two nearby islets — St. George and Our Lady of the Rocks — and the views toward the peaks around Kotor are a draw in themselves. A short drive from Kotor, it offers a quieter alternative to the busier resorts along the bay.
