Niihama is a coastal industrial city on the Seto Inland Sea in eastern Ehime Prefecture, on the island of Shikoku, known for the historic Besshi copper mine and the annual Niihama Taiko Festival — a boisterous, nationally attended celebration also called the Man Festival.
