Japan's leading producer of paper and paper products, Shikokuchuo is a port city in Ehime Prefecture on the eastern edge of Shikoku island, where it borders the other three prefectures of the island — Kagawa, Kochi, and Tokushima. Mountains rise inland from the waterfront, and the city serves as one of Ehime's main industrial centres.
