Nahariya
Israel
Nahariya sits on Israel's Mediterranean coast at the northern end of the coastal plain, with a compact centre of cafés and restaurants running alongside the Ga'aton stream that cuts through the town. The northernmost coastal city in Israel, it combines beach access with proximity to historic sites and the wider Galilee region, and carries a distinct heritage rooted in German-Jewish settlement. The surrounding region is ringed by UNESCO World Heritage sites.
