A tiny town in Styria, southern Austria, set between the Mur and Sulm rivers in wine-growing country, with vineyards in the surrounding hills and scenic viewpoints nearby. Leibnitz has a café and restaurant scene and a heritage-dense centre with many listed buildings and historic churches for a town its size. It serves as the cultural and economic hub of its district, a short distance south of Graz.
