This small town in the Gers department of southwestern France, Lectoure sits above the River Gers in a region historically nicknamed the "French Tuscany," with vineyards in the surrounding countryside and scenic views across the Lomagne. The town holds a concentration of listed historic buildings, including the cathedral of Saint-Gervais-Saint-Protais, the royal tannery, and the medieval Tour du Bourreau, alongside a café and restaurant scene that punches above its size.
